Installing Windows XP Mode

These steps are for re-installing Windows XP as part of Windows XP Mode Vistual Machine

Step 1

Open my computer and access D:\ partition

Step 2 Select Acronis True Image Home Option

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 3

Select backup and restore > Manage and Restore > Acronis Secure Zone > and browse for backup

Step 4

Browse and select the backup file from Secure Zone

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 5 (Restoring entire disk)

Step 6 (Selecting all content for restoring the disk)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 7 (Select destination for restore - internal 1TB hard drive on PC)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 8 (Click on Summary button)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 9 (Review information before restore - Hard disk destination is 1)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 10 (Wait for 30-40 minutes until re-imaging completes)

Windows will restart after re-imaging and restore drivers.
