Geohot AKA George Hotz has released the easiest Jailbreak and Unlock solution for all I devices These instructions work well with 3.1.2 latest i firmware
Instructions:
1) Update your device using Itunes to 3.1.2 firmware
2) Download Blackra1n from here 3) Connect your device to computer via USB cable
4) Double click to Run the downloaded tool, click on "Make it Rain" and wait for phone to reboot
5) The device is now Jailbroken
6) For Iphones, unlock can be done by installing Blacksn0w available via blackrain icon placed on iphone after jailbreak
7) For phones experiecing WIFI, GPS Lock and Push errors after unlock using Blacksn0w read here
Install Apple APPSTORE PAID applications on IPhone for FREE
Search for application .IPA file on torrent (TomTom GPS for iphone torrent is given here as example) Download it, if .rar extract it
Add the downloaded file from torrent to itunes applications folder (C:\Users\User Name\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications)
